BBQ Baked Beans
If I’m barbequing, I’m making beans. This recipe is great year round, as long as I have my Big Green Egg fired up with some smoked meats.
Sweat the onion and garlic in a large Dutch oven with the butter over medium heat.
Add the remaining ingredients, except the horseradish and beans.
Turn down the heat to medium low. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid burning on the bottom of the Dutch oven.
Add the horseradish and beans and simmer for an additional 30 minutes over low heat.
Once done remove the bay leaf and serve with your favorite smoked meats.
