You're Running out of Runway: Rich Rosendale at TEDxLewisburg

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Rich's TED Talk is a reflection of his personal philosophies that he has embraced over the years and his attitude about going after goals and attempting to achieve whatever is important in your life, despite the challenging circumstances we all face. “Running out of Runway” does not represent the end of the journey in one's life or career, but rather it refers to the small window of time that you have to achieve something that is important to you. Eventually that opportunity diminishes and he encourages you to change whatever circumstance existed in your life, knowing that one's personal flight will always encounter a little turbulence. But that anticipation of the challenge should not prevent us from attempting to take flight toward our goals. It's an honest idea worth sharing.
